The Vision Behind Maison of Braids
Maison of Braids Lounge & Spa began with a simple question: why should clients spend hours in a chair for protective styling without receiving the scalp care, comfort, and luxury experience they deserve?
As a longtime braiding client, I noticed the same pattern again and again. Clients were often expected to arrive with their hair already washed and prepared, even though scalp health is the foundation of healthy hair. The final style was beautiful, but the experience did not always feel relaxing, educational, or elevated. I knew there had to be a better way.
I am an educator, military spouse, mother, and entrepreneur with a deep belief in excellence, resilience, and service. My background in public administration, architecture and design studies, and education has taught me how to create spaces that are not only beautiful, but purposeful.
Maison of Braids is also built with community in mind — committed to honoring Military families, Veterans, First Responders, Teachers, and celebrating student achievement.
